Frosh, Fresh or Homecoming?
Freshers Week (UK), Frosh Week (Canada), Homecoming (USA)…call it what you want but when the students return to campus it means the busiest time of the year for the Headphone Disco DJs and crew. We’ll be hitting the road from early September til late October bringing the Two Deejay Supershow to campuses all over the world. Very excited to be visiting some venues for the first time this year; from Boston Uni and George Mason (Washington) in the US to Herriot Watt and Preston in the UK right over to Uni of Ottawa and Vincennes Uni Jasper in Canada we’ll be tearing up dancefloors the way only HD can. Festival Updates
OK, so the festival season seems like a long way away but here at HD Towers we're delighted to be adding some new festivals to our already established summertime residencies. Brand new festivals confirmed for 2011 include the World Electronic Music Festival in Ontario, Y Not Festival in Derbyshire, the Larmer Tree Festival in Dorset as well as a debut performance at Creamfields Chile in November. Bring on the sunshine...

North American College Shows
HDUK's Bryan and Graham head out to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro on Friday Feb 6th for a special Winterfest event then onto Ontario for shows in McMaster University and Mohawk College on Feb 8th and 9th respectively. The guys will be hooking up with HD Canada's DJ Darryl to rock an epic transatlantic battle of the Headphone Disco DJing brethren.
Look out for more college dates at Drake Uni, Des Moines IO, UNLV Las Vegas NV, William Jewell College Liberty MO and Univesity of Denver CO over the coming weeks.

HD Launches in South America
Headphone Disco have set up a new base serving South America in Santiago, Chile. HDUK's Graham and James joined local partner's Tino and Seb for a sell-out launch party at Club Amanda which generated an insane amount of media interest. The diary for the remaining summer months is already packed with highlights including a series of beach shows in Valparaiso, a trip to north Chile on 11 Feb and a debut Argentinian show in Mendoza on 26 Feb.

Headphone Disco go West. West Indies that is!!
The Headphone Disco boys are at it again. Spreading the silent phenomenon far and wide. This time it's Barbados for the Caribbean Rum and Beer Festival. It's happening on the 19th and 20th November in the grounds of the Portvale Sugar Factory, just east of Bridgetown in Sunny Barbados. If you are in the area head down and join DJ's Bryan and Grahame for an ice cold Mojito and a couple of nights of Headphone hedonism.

Three Continents. Three Shows. One Night
Headphone Disco take their surreal silent silliness on a pan-continental treck which will see them perform three shows in three countries on three continents all in the one night!!!
Resident DeeJay Sammi is first on the trail as he flies out to join local hero DJ Rachael Kungu for Headphone Disco's second appearance at the Bayimba International Festival in Kampala, Uganda (http://www.tsekh.ru). A true 'guerilla' event TSEKH is located in a working paper factory which for 4 weeks every year is converted into a unique arts space which plays host to club events, contemporary dance, theatre and cinema. Headphone Disco are delighted to be invited over to perform what will be Russia's first ever silent disco in such an exciting venue.
To complete the trio of appearances DJs Darryl and Roody who head up the Canadian wing of Headphone Disco (http://www.headphonedisco.ca) will be spinning in Bellini's in Edmonton, Western Canada as part of their 28-date tour of the region. The tour has seen them take in just about every city, town and two-horse pit-stop in WC as they spread the silent party gospel out West. The tour finishes on September 28th and continues on the East Coast in late November.
